We’ve recently signed a deal to represent the catalogue of Toronto label We Are Busy Bodies. Established in 2005, We Are Busy Bodies have released more than 18 titles, and are ready for a full schedule of new albums for this year. Bands/artists include existing and upcoming albums from indie-rockers The Meligrove Band, experimental band DD/MM/YYYY, one-man writing machine Mayor McCa, and NY’s indie pop band The Narrative to name a few. Genres include indie rock, singer/songwriter, alt folk, indie pop, experimental, math rock.
Here’s a selection of our favorite songs. Take a listen.
Mayor McCa – ‘One Million Songs For You’. Sounds like John Lennon solo singing a beautiful song about love, with a beautiful
in tow.

The Meligrove Band – ‘I’m Easy’. A taste from a band that writes very catchy hooks and melodies.

DD/MM/YYYY – ‘I’m Still In The Wall’. This chaotic pulsing beat reminds us of bands like Animal Collective, Battles.

Andre Charles Theriault -’Rough Times’. Perhaps a fitting song for our current economic days.
