Using keyboards, electronic tones, minimal drums and cello sounds to create this ‘slow build’ of an instrumental, ‘Stickers On Keys’ makes me feel like I’m sinking underwater in slow-motion.  Perhaps sounding more like score than song, no one matches Rebelski in his ability to paint a scene with sound.

A composer and recording artist in his own right, Martin Roman Rebelski is also the unofficial fourth member of Doves. His second full length release (Stickers on Keys) features members of Doves and other Manchester musicians and is a work of beautiful Eno/Reich-inspired ambient instrumentals. Mike TV from Beats For Beginners sings on two tracks, but most songs off this title are instrumental.
