On Point and Red is the second full-length from Vancouver’s Readymade. Atmospheric, melodic and delay-laden, layers of guitars and synths propel the album through 10 tracks of urban soundscape, where seemingly slack and militant attitudes play-off but don’t play-out. The band transcends their early mastery of old-school shoegaze to create a recording of suble dynamics, mellow catchiness, arcing melodies and propulsive rhythms.
