Funkservice International is formed around the core of the production team of Sweden’s Adil Fadi and Jonas Persson who have become a hub for modern music based on Nu Jazz, Nu Soul and World Music. Add a collective of musicians to this core and you have an act not unlike of Blacknuss and Massive Attack in their approach and breadth. Adil, originally from Casablanca, Morocco, and Jonas, from Skellefteå, Sweden, had both spent a great deal of time doing solo work with various styles of music when in 2001 they decided to combine their collective skills and experience to create an exciting hybrid between different musical styles. The result is an eclectic and groovy blend of Jazz, Lounge, Soul and World Music.
