Some serious talent here. The other night, Nathan Finochio (aka Alexander Fairchild) took a challenge from friend/photographer/director Brooks Reynolds who to told him to write a song and perform/record it all in one night at the studio (with the help of his friend and co-producer David Kuwabara).
Nathan Finochio is a music making machine. It was only near the end of last year that we were just getting the word out about his debut album, now we’re bringing you his third record under the moniker Alexander Fairchild. A man of many hats (producer, writer, multi-instrumentalist, youth pastor), “Vol. 3” is 11 songs that show exponential growth of this prolific writer. Check out the Black Keys-ish “Honey Woman Lady Cutie“, the warm ballad of “Hallelujah“, or the undeniable hook of “Complicated Simple Man“.

Alexander Fairchild is Nathan Finochio. A man of many hats (producer, writer, music-maker, youth pastor, baseball-lover), Nathan chose this moniker to represent his most recent songwriting project. The result is a self-titled record which covers quite a few musical directions. Never wanting to sound predictable, this collection touches sombre songs of love (‘Easier Than Breathing‘, ‘Very First Time‘), alt-country (‘Lady Of The Lake‘), honky-tonk gospel (‘Oh, Lord‘), many songs tied together with Finochio’s signature smooth, hushed vocals sung through warm reverb. Through this records rich sounds and lyrics, we think this stuff is what picture is meant to synch to.
