Aaron Booth‘s ramblin’ musical history is held together by one common thread: miles of 4-track tape. Growing up, everything related back to his bedroom studio – his audio scrapbook. During the late 90′s his demos evolved from thumbnail sketches into full productions leading to the release of Tune Up, an EP of secret home recordings. Transparent is an inviting and intimate folk-pop record. Its sparse sound reflects a solo artist spending much time on the road.

Genre: Roots-pop, Indie Pop, Singer/songwriter

Sounds Like: Elvis Costello, Blue Rodeo

“Transparent, a debut release from Canadian group Snailhouse’s keyboardist reveals a musician and singer of genuine quality. Why? – Simply because he conjures a style of mature, crafted music which is the essence of contemporary Americana.” – Americana UK
