We’re All Whores and Black Empty Hearts by Krief in episodes 205 and 207 of FX‘s Dirt.

Enter Saturna, a four-piece band from Portland. Their 2007 release Some Delicious Enemy (produced and mixed by Tony Lash and Brin Addison) is a fuzzy, driving, but melodic guitar record with enough psychedelia to invoke thoughts of My Bloody Valentine or Spiritualized. The record boasts swaggering rock numbers in the vein of Jesus and Mary Chain or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, as well as sweet, soaring tracks reminiscent of Doves, Ride or Catherine Wheel. These are what separate the music listeners from the music lovers, as the latter will find themselves mesmerized by the endless layers of sound that develop upon repeated spins.
